Holon Colors - DoctorT - 07-13-2017

Dear Garth,

I am a newbie using XenoDream 2.6 running under Windows 7 Pro and slowly working through the “Using XenoDream 2.6” manual.

1 - I followed the steps described in Section 2.7 of the Using XenoDream 2.6 manual (pp. 34-35) to create one iterator and one constructor. I used a Crystal - Quartz instead of the Cube - Trunc.

2 - Everything worked fine! Holon # 1 is the iterator and holon # 2 is the constructor.

3 - What colors can I change? How do I do it?

Thank you!

Doctor T

That tutorial is about shapes. In general, if an object has any constructors you should use the Metamorph coloring method. I recommend setting the iterator's Map From to Inherit All, so it inherits the pattern from other holons, and usually checking the Inherit Color option to inherit the gradient too. Then you can choose a gradient and adjust meta pattern controls for the constructor. For an introduction to metamorph coloring, look at Metamorph Coloring Basics, section 2.24 (page 68 in the PDF manual).
