Yes. The Preferences dialog shows the location for them, which can be changed. You can use equirectangular panoramic images or ordinary images. The environment map dialog has a refresh button so you can add images without restarting Jux.

There doesn't seem to be a way to add images to the installed collection within the program itself. I did find another way to use other images. I looked for one of the preset images, found the location on my computer and then copied and pasted more images to that location. The location is in the program files folder for Jux. I'm certain that certain sizes and image dimensions work better than others.
